I want to create this topic to help each other in creating our “perfect” Facebook Ads. I’m talking about the 15-sec ads where we try to bring people into our house(like Instagram etc…). So if you want to post your ads or critique the ads of other people this is the right place for you! (I personally think that we should be brutally honest on this topic…we are not criticizing the music but just the ad, if it is effective, if it is a good idea, etc…so if you think my ad is bad or not effective you are saving me MONEY helping me to build my “perfect ad”). Can’t wait to see your ads guys!

I’ve gotten some likes/engagement from it. But the average watch time is two to three seconds

I would say it might have better traction on the average watch time if there was more of a story through it with you talking too - as without context, it may be a bit confusing when it just appears on someone’s feed

Ok. What I’m still trying to figure out is what to say and how to say it. The “Hey! Do you like…” doesn’t seem quite right. But I don’t want it to be low energy either

Yeah, this is the problem that I have. I don’t want to do a generic “Hey! Do you like…” but how do you start, and you only have 15 seconds, right?

Thank you so much Damo! Yep, I’m starting today cause I’m actually releasing my new music video…hopefully they will come inside my Insta, follow and maybe even give it a listen on YouTube! I’m trying with a really specific target just on my city, Bristol, to see if I can be on the spotlight of the local scene… Let’s see!
Awesome! For YT I wouldn’t run these ads on Fb, Fb doesn’t really like it and it’ll be way more cost effective to promote your YT video on YT
I’m running this only on Instagram stories. My goal is to bring people in Insta but all my last posts on insta are about my last music video, same video that is on the ads… This is why maybe people will go even on YT but it is not a priority… My potential reach is 24k people(it is a small precise net) do you think is enough people? I’m going with 5 pounds a day…thank you Damo for your support

Yep I’d start with that, the reach may be a tad small, but test that to begin with and see the results you get!

I reckon you need it amended for insta and obvs the images on insta will need to reflect whats in the ad most importantly
