So after 2 weeks, I’ve spent about 50€ and got about 200 clicks, with a CPC of 0,2€ and about 50 000 people covered
When i compare it to posts i’ve pushed, it looks more expensive actually
What do you think ?

indie top priority market : places like the US, UK, France, Japan, Australia… based on 2 factors : fans of indie music + Spotify user

Artist top priority market : places like the US, UK, France, Japan, Australia… based on 2 factors : fans of similar artists to my genre (Radiohead, James Blake,…) + Spotify user
I ran a similar campaign to push people to Spotify and had similar results.
But the CPC dropped to 0,07€ when I applied this strategy to “emerging” countries and skyrocketed to 0,4€/0,5€ when I tried to hyper target people from France (my country).
Maybe it’s difficult to get a much lower CPC for places like the US, UK etc? Or maybe I should go more into details and dig the “hyper targeted” aspect

My suggestions would be do a similar test against a different ad creative as this can make a really big difference.
I would say that both of those are slightly high but you can get them down with ad retention and testing different factors. So I’d divide up into less countries and see which countries perform best too.
You’re on the right track, it comes down to testing with different creatives and audiences until you go ahaaaa I’ve done it!
