Hey
We use ONErpm as our aggregator / distributor and they have this policy where we need 10K subscribers until they link the YouTube account with our own channel. We are new to this whole gig and we have our own channel which we have set up but YouTube keeps thinking there is a copyright issue with the ONErpm channel - the distributor has been a bit crap to be honest saying its their policy … 10K subscribers is a LONG way off for us (at the mo at least! haha) so I wondered if better to just not distribute to YouTube when ticking all of those boxes on places to send the tunes and then just manually change it to our account… we are at the early early doors so haven’t even made it to the magic 100 - just don’t want to “break my YouTube” in the same way that its possible to “break my Spotify”.
Any help or similar experiences appreciated!
Cheers all
