Spotify limiting Streams?

Hi all!
ive been running ads on facebook and insta stories since 1st of january.
I tested changing the link to spotify profile, to song link and to playlist.
Got good results on all, with 0,06 cost per result. BUT…
I started with 300€ budget solid all months hoping to see exponential growth since every month my 300€ would bring new audience to my profile.

What i noticed is that January, February and March it was rising exponentially, but after that it stabilized on around 25.000 streams per month and just stayed there even with followers growing by 400 each month and mantaining the investment!

How is this possible?
I have:
25 to 30% more listeners every month
400 more followers every month
But streams are steady on 25000 for 3 months now.
I release music every 4 weeks since january!

Shouldnt this be growing? Anything changed on spotify policy that is filtering something here?

Can spotify limit streaming numbers somehow? it looks clearly that it was rising, rising, and then somehow it stopped rising… but my investment in new audience stayed the same - 300€ per month!

Any help would be appreciated!
Best regards

I don’t know for sure, but it’s possible that it could be the effects of iOS 14, which came into effect around this time.

Basically people can ask Facebook (and other apps) not to track your web activity, which means it’s harder for Facebook to accurately find people that may like your music, which makes the ads more expensive.

I’m not really sure if Facebook ads are the way to go in 2021, unless you have a ridiculous budget.
