Music Video from Stock Footage

Hello,
I have a question about vidoes from stock footage. I am not a big cinematograph nor do I have the time or joy filming. What do you guys think, I see a lot of offers on Fiverr to generate music videos from stockplatforms like Pexels. I have a song I already found plenty of possible footage and adding my own face and playing in bettwen could work. Or do you guys think at the early stage of the 1 million path, it is not worth the time and effort and don’t release a video for my first releases?

I just downloaded an app called Wondershare Filmora and knocked up a video in a couple of hours. The free version puts an ugly watermark on the video, so I bought the perpetual licence for about £70 (US$80). It’s a lot cheaper than Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut pro. Might be worthwhile giving it an hour or so and seeing if you can do something a basic. Here’s my video Black Heart Drifters - Santa Fe - YouTube

Hey thx for the reply. I am already done. I was using davinci resolve and will release it with my song next week. Searich now a tool for creating a lyric video but this one might work aswell

You’ve made a good job the video. I’ll look into Wondershare Filmora. Thx

I know this is an old post.

I’ve used Pexels for videos in the past for my post-rock band. We try to use videos from the same person for the whole song, so we only have to credit one person in the credits.

We also, do send them some money, but that is just because as an ex photographer, I know what it is like to not get paid! So like to pay at least something.
