Looking for a lead for a good social media person to help

Hey there!

I need help. In addition to my band Thief Motif I also run my own business. The other 3 members are too busy to do all of the social media and band-admin … while also make sure that I stay partnered and sane.

I’m feeling so overwhelmed with all the stuff you’re “supposed” to do. I want to hire someone to just handle all the social media stuff and help with local engagement in Seattle, WA. Does anyone have any leads on where to look to hire a social media manager for content creation, ads management, and occasional band admin stuff?

Music is supposed to be enjoyable and fun, but the social media morass makes it pretty depressing.

Hey, yeah I agree. The moment something starts feeling overwhelming or depressing, you definitely need to find another route! I have a trustworthy friend who sorts out my TikTok for me because I’ve recognised that social media isn’t good for my mental health. I sort my YouTube and my friend does my TikTok. So either find someone you trust and that you know is particularly good with social media? Or have a look on something like fiverr?

Yes I’m in a similar boat, has anyone else had any luck with Fivrr? I’ve used them for video editing and they’re great, however, socials require trust with passwords, etc.
Would love to hear how you’re doing with this!

I realise it’s been months since you posted your comments, sorry! But no, I haven’t ever used Fiverr for my socials. If I was going to, I would only use someone who is from the UK, has a real picture of themselves, and trustworthy portfolio of work they have done before. And someone who has worked with a lot of people before, has a lot of reviews, and a top rated seller on Fiverr

Have you tried anything in these last months?

Hey folks, I’ve managed social media for a venture capital firm in SF as well as worked copywriting for a sports betting company. I also know the basics of FCPX and do my own eidts. Let me know if you’re still looking for someone.
