What if my artist want to sign with another record label, Do I have to ask for a payment before leaving the artist ?
Anything like this - best bet is get a solicitor/lawyer involved… when dealing with labels/artists in these cases, you want things to be airtight so that noone gets screwed over, and you definitely want everyone to know where they stand.
If it is an expense that you can’t realistically justify, probably best leaving it alone for the time being.
